Construction Pathway

The construction pathway contains a variety of careers based on specific knowledge, skills, and necessary educational requirements. Those who enter careers in this pathway have strong interests in doing very physical work, especially working with their hands using equipment and tools and also enjoy being both indoors and outdoors. Remember when you were a child, climbing up to high places and playing in muddy, dusty places? You can do all this again and get paid at the same time! Of course, construction workers must use care when using sharp tools and power equipment and while working on ladders and scaffolds. They need to be careful when they lift heavy items that weigh 50 pounds or more. However, they are able to enjoy their work because the work they do has real and practical results that last a long time.
